As January comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on a month full of both challenges and hopeful beginnings. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions, energy shifts, and big decisions a true balancing act between preparing for a new arrival and nurturing the business that means so much to me.
Growing Miracles and New Beginnings
First and foremost, there’s the beautiful news: the baby is growing strong and healthy. With just about five weeks to go until the due date, every moment is a reminder of the incredible journey of creation happening right now. While my body is hard at work nurturing this little life, my mind is often preoccupied with plans and dreams for the future , both personal and professional.
Subscription Box Success
One bright spot this month has been the continued success of my subscription boxes. The themes I’ve planned for the rest of the year are nothing short of magical and breathtaking, with each box featuring handmade, thoughtfully curated items designed to inspire and delight. February’s box, themed around creativity, inspiration, and honoring Brigid and Imbolc, is packed with beautiful items that I’ve crafted with love.
February will also be the last month to subscribe at the current price of $50. Starting in March, the price will increase to $60 to reflect the value of the boxes, which range from $85 to $100. Whether you subscribe for the year or prefer to purchase a single box to test out the experience, you’ll always have the flexibility to cancel at any time. I’m so grateful for the excitement and support these boxes have received, and I can’t wait to share the incredible surprises I’ve planned for the months ahead.
Navigating Business Decisions
This month has been one of the slowest I’ve experienced in years since running my shop. Transitioning away from Etsy to focus on my own website has been a bold and rewarding leap, but the journey hasn’t been without its challenges. After much thought, I’ve decided to keep both shops open for the time being. My website will remain my primary focus, offering more items at lower prices, along with perks like a cashback rewards program, discounts, and free shipping on orders over $75.
Items listed on Etsy, however, will unfortunately be priced about 30% higher to account for the platform’s fees. While this isn’t my ideal setup, I find it’s the best way to bridge the gap until I can transition fully to my website alone. I’m excited to provide my customers with more options and incentives to shop directly from my site, creating a personalized and rewarding experience.
The Dance of Mind and Body
One of the toughest challenges this month has been the tug-of-war between ambition and physical reality. My mind is brimming with creative ideas for new products, shop strategies, and energy-boosting spells, especially as I plan for a vibrant, abundant spring focused on innovative concepts like abundance and idea spells, and maybe even a little extra something for energy. Yet, my body reminds me daily that its primary focus is on nurturing life. This delicate dance between professional drive and personal well-being is teaching me patience, balance, and the importance of self-compassion.
The End of Winter and the Promise of Spring
As winter’s chill begins to wane, there’s a palpable sense of magic in the air. The end of winter isn’t just a season closing it’s a threshold to a season of growth, renewal, and boundless potential. I’m eagerly anticipating the arrival of spring, a time when nature bursts forth in vibrant abundance, mirroring my own hopes for a season of creative rebirth and energy. I plan to channel this natural vitality into my work by focusing on abundance and idea spells, with perhaps a little boost of energy magic to keep the momentum going.

January has been a month of lessons of realizing that sometimes, life’s most significant creations require a slower pace and more nurturing than our ambitious minds might desire. With the arrival of my baby on the horizon and the promise of a rejuvenating spring, I’m learning to trust the process.
